The ICA bar explores the relationship between the borrowed and the made through the use of known objects and materials used out of their expected contexts. We have used Armitage Shanks urinal slabs to form the bar top and front, giving a pure and utilitarian aesthetic in white fire-clay. The generic polyprop chair is also used but is produced in its raw material state.
